The Alfresco Subscription Manager (ASM) offers a means of allowing users to subscribe to events and be notified through the Alfresco Notification Service. The subscription service will support both an event and periodic/scheduled model to do things like execute canned search queries (scheduled model) or subscribe to content update events (event model).
