[edit] Introduction

CML (Content Manipulation Language) provides a set of simple statements for updating a Repository. The statements are described in XML Schema and as such can either be represented as XML documents or mapped to other representations such as Java objects or appropriate client language binding.

Multiple statements may be collected together into a single document.
