Talk:Download and Install Alfresco
From alfrescowiki
Alfresco Community Edition, once I have downloaded this to my Mac OS 10.4, can I then start to create a website for publishing. Do I need any other Alfresco modules to support this.
Many thanks
Mrogers 18:02, 30 July 2009 (BST) you will probably want WCM - but please ask for information in the forums rather than here.

Download linux link
Are the links to download the linux versions working for anyone because they are not working for me?

Where is the 32 bit linux version (do I need to repeat myself over and over)? Yes i read it is possible to do it manually but why make it so hard and not just create one within the installer? Is there a hate against people with older linux computers?
Lurker (talk) 00:01, 18 December 2012 (GMT) I tend to agree. Never mind age, a 32 bit cloud instance is significantly cheaper than a 64 bit one over time. Why run a big instance and pay for twice the cpu, disk & memory when its not needed and is mostly filled with nothing but zeros anyway? Not everyone wants or needs a ginormous document trove.
Mrogers 11:59, 4 January 2012 (UTC) 32 bit linux is not a supported platform.
Windows 7 (64-bit) post installation
At the end of installation PostgreSQL was unable to run and after a computer restart everything was fine. Maybe restart step should be within the installation procedure wizard...
